Remembering Assayehegn Gerbu

Assayehegn was the beloved youngest son in the Gebru family. He died in a tragic car accident at the age of 18, leaving behind a wife and child. “My heart will weep for him all my life,” Emahoy once wrote. Her compositions “Last Tears Of A Deceased” and “Have You Seen Assayehegn?” are dedicated to his memory and his family.
